Imagine standing over the shot that normally makes you nervous and knowing exactly what to do.
Imagine the part of your game that currently costs you the most shots becoming something you understand, trust, and can rely on.
This 12-week coaching programme helps you identify your biggest priorities, build a clear plan, and make meaningful progress without getting distracted by everything else.
Most golfers aren't struggling because they aren't trying.
They're struggling because they're trying to fix too much at once. One week, it's their grip. The next, it's their backswing. Then they hit a poor drive, watch a YouTube video, and change everything again. Before long, they're working on five different things without making meaningful progress on any of them.
You don't need more things to work on. You need to know which things actually matter.

Think about the part of your game that currently causes you the most frustration.
Maybe it's the driver you don't trust when the fairway narrows.
Maybe it's the inconsistent strike that makes every iron shot feel uncertain.
Maybe it's the short-game shot that costs you two or three unnecessary shots every round.
Or maybe it's a recurring miss you've been trying to fix for months without understanding why it keeps happening.
Now imagine spending the next 12 weeks working on that specific issue with a clear plan, regular coaching, and someone keeping you on track.
Rather than trying to improve everything at once, we focus on the one or two priorities that could make the biggest difference to your performance.
Turn the part of your game you currently worry about into something you understand, trust, and can rely on.

We begin with a 90-minute assessment at Calderfields Golf Range. We look at your game, discuss your goals, and identify the issues having the biggest impact on your performance. Rather than giving you a list of everything you could change, we identify the one or two priorities that deserve your attention over the next 12 weeks.
Your programme is built around your game, your goals, and the time you realistically have available. That might mean improving your driving, developing a more consistent strike, understanding your ball flight, or building confidence around the greens. Whatever your priority, your practice has a clear purpose. You know what to work on, how to train it, and what feedback to look for.
Your individual coaching sessions give us the opportunity to develop your technique, refine your understanding, and make adjustments as you improve. Depending on the programme you choose, sessions can be spread across the 12 weeks or combined into longer appointments. You do not have to attend every week if that does not fit your schedule.
This is where most golfers lose momentum. They leave a lesson with the right intentions, but without feedback, they drift back into old habits or start working on something different. Throughout your programme, you receive weekly online swing reviews, ongoing support, and access to my Performance Hub. If something does not feel right, your progress slows, or you are unsure what to practise, we identify the problem and adjust your plan. You are never left guessing what to do next.
Improvement does not only happen during your individual lessons. It happens when you practise the right things consistently between them. My Wednesday group training sessions give you a regular opportunity to train with structure, work on different areas of your game, and receive guidance while you practise.

My job is to give you the plan, coaching, feedback, and support. Your job is to commit to the process.
"James got me to single figures from a 16 handicap. In only 6 lessons my handicap dropped and I achieved my lifelong goal of single figures. Next stop scratch!"
David Harris
"James transformed my game. I spent months trying to learn through YouTube and friends and lacked the confidence to play a full round. James has completely transformed my game and my friends say I look like a real golfer now. Working with James has been a great investment."
Saif Shah
"My handicap dropped 6 shots in 4 months. James has completely transformed all aspects of my game. I now feel confident in my setup and ball striking. His style of coaching is very easy to understand and he maintains a genuine interest in my progress."
Martin Humphries
You can spend the next three months trying different tips, changing direction after every poor round, and hoping something eventually clicks.
Or you can identify the part of your game that needs the most attention, build a clear plan, and give yourself the support to improve it properly. Choose the programme that suits you, and let's start working on the part of your game that could make the biggest difference.
Limited to eight in-person golfers across all three programmes.
